It Ain't My Fault
On The Home Front
Another template trial ... not so sure I like brown maps.
The vet's office finally received the S/D dog food they ordered for Peaches a month or more ago. They say it doesn't taste good (why not?), but if she'll eat it, it will disolve the stone in her bladder. We haven't given Peaches too many things she wouldn't eat, so let's hope she'll like this. The stone doesn't seem to bother her, but evidently it has sharp edges and can cause some bleeding, so we hope this fixes it.
Once again, I stayed on the computer yesterday until I was blurry and not able to knit, so there's no progress to show.
The Cotswold did get plied today, and will be soaked and hung tonight. It only made 63 yards. I guess it will just stay skeined until I run across a pattern for 63 yards of something, or use it in something scrappy. I have ordered a "jumbo" bobbin so I can ply more yarn at a time. This 63 yards over-filled the bobbin that came with the wheel.
Now, I'll decide whether to try spinning the BFL again, or maybe some Merino. Another decision . . .

I hope Peaches like the food. Our Sophie eats the I/D canned food and really likes it.
ReplyDeleteSo far this is my least favorite template. I'm reminded of the line in the song that goes: Everybody wants to call the shots, how would you like a flag that features Fluer di Lis on ochra colored tin?
