The American Rag Online

The web site has been updated.  The Coming Events page is current. A new link has been added. If you haven't been there to take a look ..... why not?  While you're there, be sure to take a look at the Subscription page!

On The Home Front

This is the last of the templates that I think I could live with. There are others that I like better, but let me know which one you like best.

I recalculated the Cotswold yarn and it's 65 yards. It's finished now and sitting with the other two small bits I've finished and kept from the practices.

Now I'm working on some dyed Falkland, and it's really easy to spin. This is the first of two bobbins I'm spinning it on. I've ordered a "jumbo" bobbin for plying, and am trying to get equal amounts spun on these two bobbins so there won't be  any wasted. The dyer named the color(s) "Fruit Salad."

This is my excitement for the last two days. After updating the web site this morning, I slid into my cave and played with fiber until this afternoon, when I rode with Don to the post office. Now, I think I'll see if I can get him to take me out for dinner.

  1. I vote for the orange template - it's happy and I smile when I see it. I like all the yarns you have spun. I'm hoping for them to be made into something I can wear.
