Preservation Hall Jazz Band

If you're in the Los Angeles area tonight and looking for something to do, you might see if tickets are still available for Preservation Hall Jazz Band at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The venue is fantastic and the band legendary. The concert starts at 8:00 p.m. We'll be there!

On The Home Front

We're almost ready for Christmas Eve. We bought a live tree this year, a "Fat Albert Spruce," and it has been decorated.

I made a quick trip to Cozy Quilt'n and Fanciwerks Yarn Shop to wish my friends Merry Christmas, and came home with two new Malabrigo yarns. At least one of them will be used for the Ishbel shawl pattern by Ysolda Teague. The colorways are 855 Aguas and 854 Rayon Vert. This photo doesn't do justice to the colors, they're gorgeous.
The blue has a bit of purple in it, and the purple has a bit of green.
